Despite a poor winter training programme due to injury, the dedication, focus and commitment of sixteen year old Rikki Letch has been rewarded with a coveted place in the Great Britain team to participate in the IAAF World Youth Athletics Championships in Bressanone, Italy from 8th - 12th July 2009

Although he will be competing against athletes older than himself he is currently ranked 8th in the world for his age group in the 800m.

It is a well deserved selection for an athlete who always is on hand to compete for the Club in any event and in any age group and who has already made his British League debut last season at the age of 15
