A number of WSEH athletes made the trip to Lee Valley on Sunday to compete in the MetaSwitch Games.
There was a massive pb for Helen Pryer in the Senior Ladies 400m winning in 53.45secs. Danny Hodge was another to win the Vet 45 age group with his 58.9secs. Sam Maguire placed 2nd in the U20 60m hurdles in 8.43secs. Decathlete Ashley Bryant was in action in several events his best result being his win in the Shot with 13m10. There was a large contingent of WSEH Pole Vaulters who made their presence felt. Coach Steve McLennan was 2nd in the Sen Mens event with 4m41, Charlie Smith 2nd in the U20 Men with 4m21 and Alice Humble set a new pb of 3m31 for 2nd U23. Lily Mae Fisher was also 2nd in the U20 age group with her 3m11 and Euan Bryden(U20) set a major pb in winning the B pool with 3m81.
