WSEH AC athletes were out in force on Saturday, competing for their County teams in the Inter Counties Cross Country Championships in Loughborough.

Once again it was Charlotte Dewar that produced the top result, finishing 7th in the Under 13 Girls race. She was well supported by Freya Wilcox (54th) and Oona Gibbons (74th).
The U13 Boys race saw George Thomas, the lone WSEH runner, in 249th place.
The U15 Girls race had Amy Young in 118th place with Izzie Craven 185th.
There was just one WSEH athlete in the U15 Boys event - Josh Patteson in 289th place.
There was a good run from Kate Thompson in the U17 Ladies race, coming home in 45th place with Maya Hodgson 139th.
Just one WSEH athlete toed the start line in the U17 Mens race - Dan Brookling finishing 79th.
The WSEH duo in the U20 Ladies event were Beccy Pope in 94th place with Charlotte Harris in 139th place.
The lone WSEH representative in the U20 Mens race was Martin Kopernicky in 113th spot.
It was a similar story in the Senior Ladies race Hannah Novakovic crossing the finish in 114th place.

European Throws Cup - Portugal
Competing for GB in the European Throws Cup in Portugal, WSEH’s Amy Holder took bronze in the Discus with 52m36.
