WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS, FINLAND
WSEH’s three athletes competing in the World Junior Championships in Finland, all performed with distinction. Jake Norris won the Hammer event with a new GB Junior Record of 80m65 whilst Bayley Campbell also made the Final finishing in 6th place with a best of 71m28. Alex Haydock-Wilson was the lead off runner in the GB 4x400m Relay which took the bronze medal.

NATIONAL SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSIPS - BIRMINGHAM
WSEH had a number of athletes representing their County Schools Teams in the English Schools Championships in Birmingham coming away with a number of medals. There was a successful family duo in that Temi Ojora won the Inter Girls High Jump with a 1m75 clearance whilst elder brother Tade Ojora was 2nd in the Senior Boys 110m Hurdles in 13.74secs.The other victory was gained by Marcy Winter in the Senior 400m Hurdles in 61.69secs. Ayoola Babalola claimed the silver medal in the Inter Girls 100m in a time of 12.24secs
