WSEH AC trailed Berkshire rivals Reading AC for most of the match in their opening National Young Athletes League match at Bracknell on Sunday but a determined surge in the late events saw the local club finally emerge with a comfortable victory.

The opening Southern League Division 1 match for the WSEH Mens ‘B’ team proved highly competitive with the local club missing top spot by just one point.

Despite the atrocious weather, WSEH’s home match opener of the National Junior League Premier Division series, provided an exciting competition with the lead changing constantly throughout the day. The final result depended on the final event with current champions Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers just holding off the challenge of host club WSEH.

The WSEH team in the Alder Valley League opener at Bracknell suffered from the clash of fixtures and weather absentees though some athletes showed there keenness by competing on both days. WSEH finished in 4th pace in the 9 club match behind winners Basingstoke AC

WSE&H Mini-Stars is fun athletics for children aged 3 to 8
Mini-Stars is designed to develop children's athletic skills from an early age using fun and play based activities to develop fitness, techniques and primary abilities.

We are the official feeder club to WSE&H AC currently the number one all round athletic club in the UK.

Sessions are held on a Friday night in school term times, officially starting 20th April 2012.

3-5 years old from 5-6 PM
6-8 years old from 6.10-7.10 PM

We are holding taster sessions on 16th March and 23rd March for only £2.00 per session.
