Senior Mens Race
Nathan White continued to enhance his status with a superb victory in the second match in the Apex Sports Chiltern Cross Country League series, notching his first ever victory in the Senior Mens Race. Nathan has worked his way up the system with wins in all the age groups, but this was his first win at Senior level though officially still in the Under 20 category. His time o34m15 secs was over 40 secs clear of the second man home, WSEH’s Owain Jones, coming back from injury with his 34m57 clocking. Another of WSEH’s promising U20’s Ian May was next across the line in 12th place, and yet another WSEH U20, Alex Tovey was 21st in 37m04. Thjere was a gap before Tim Haughian appeared in 62nd spot in 39m43 but another of WSEH’s U20 athletes, Luke Turton was close on his heels in 65th place in 39m48. There was a long wait before the next WSEH athlete finished, Mike Ashmore coming home in 179 th place. Disappointingly WSEH were short of three runners to complete the team.

Senior Ladies Race
There were gaps in the WSEH team for this race also with a number of regulars absent. Leigh James was the best of the WSEH contingent in 29th place in 27m07 with Yolanda Edwards in tow in 30th place in 27m15. Next was Pippa Callingham in 40th place and Sue Tansey completed the team in 51st spot.

Under 17 Mens Race
Joshua Radvan was the first WSEH runner home in this race in 11th place in 21m36. He was followed by Joe Walsh in 19th spot, with Nick Lingley in touch in 20th place. Chris Reilly completed the WSEH team in 33rd place.
Other WSEH Finishers were: 34th Callum Calvert, 36th Cameron Smart, 39th Luke Porter, 41st John Newton.

Under 20/17 Ladies Race
Close packing by the WSEH competitors saw Rachel Stedman home in 4th place with Louise Lingley in 5th and Andrea Fox in 7th. DSam Cross was 18th.

Under 15 Girls Race
There was more good running from the WSEH girls in this race. Bex Myers was the strongest in 5th place, with the fast improving Ellie Pepper 7th. Leah Barrow -14th and Lauren Wye – 16th, completed the team scoring.

The trend was repeated in this race with the first WSEH athlete across the line being Jay Fieldmartin in 6th place. Kieron Wye was in touch in 8th place with Ricky Harvie hard on his heels in 9th. David DeVilliers completed the team in 12th place.

Under 11 Boys Race
A matter of seconds split the WSEH group in this race. Joe Hudson got the verdict in 12th place, with Ed Gumpert 13th and Luke Bunker 14th.

Under 11 Girls Race
Becky Croft was the runaway WSEH winner of this race with younger sister Anna Croft in 13th spot. Michaela Wright completed the team in 37th place.
