There was a healthy contingent of WSEH athletes at the Basinstoke AC Open Track & Field meeting on Sunday.
There were four outright winners from WSEH amongst a host of good performances. Russell Waterson looks to have claimed his slot in the national Young Athletes League team in winning the Under 15 Pole Vault with 1m90 whilst sister Pascale was winning the Under 17 Long Jump with 4m83. Young Hope White was also the best of the Under 11 Long Jumpers with her 3m51. Matt Bezzant was the top Under 17 400m runner in 53.77 secs.
